Hair Tips
Find the best cut for your face.
Why does one woman look great in a hair cut and another look not so fabulous?
It all comes down to face shape. Balance your features with your facial shape. To determine
your face shape:
1. Pull hair back from your face.
2. While looking in the mirror, take a lip pencil and outline the shape of your face in the
mirror.
3. Step back from the mirror and examine the shape. You can be oval, square, round, or
heart.

The luckiest face shape is oval. It works with any hair cut because it's balanced. If you have
an elongated oval or if your chin looks long, you need a cut that adds width. Square faces
want to create a slimming effect by adding the illustion of more length and less width.
Sometimes a short cut does work with strong features. Heart shapes have most of their
width in the forehead. Choose a longer cut with a flip, fullness or flair at the bottom or a
short cut with bangs. Finally, if you have a round face, hair that covers ears and moves onto
the cheekbones helps to conceal the width of your face. Don't cut hair to expose your ears
because it can emphasize the wideness of your cheekbones.

Hair texture plays a big role in all of these suggestions so see your stylist for the perfect
style.

And don't forget to windex your mirror ;)
